Intel’s Branding Plan
Intel announced its Intel Core i7 processor last November as the first member of a new family of Nehalem processor designs, which has helped the chip giant to consolidate its leading position in high-end processor market. However, the high pricing of Core i7 platform (X58 motherboard + triple channel DDR3 memory) is somewhat prohibitive for most consumers.
At present, Intel still holds considerable market share in mainstream CPU market with the Core 2 and Pentium series which are based on last-generation Core micro-architecture. But, the faster Nehalem is meant to prevail gradually.
According to Intel’s plan, Core 2 series will disappear before Q1 next year, being replaced by Nehalem-based Core i7/i5/i3. In addition, some Pentium processors will also employ Nehalem architecture.
As we said, Core i7 targets high-end market, and Core i5 is designed for mid-range segment, while Core i3 is aimed for entry-level market.
Besides, Pentium is used for ordinary applications, Celeron provides entry-level solutions, and Atom is designed for netbooks and handheld devices.

Hi, you have OLD BIOSa nd your Turbo Mode is not fully working, put there 0209 and will see, Core i5 750 will reach 3,2 GHz instead of 2,8 GHz …. Bye

Clarkdale and Lynnfield have internal QPI, but the external interface is DMI to the P55. Still, PCIe graphics pipe directly to the controller in the CPU, so the DMI doesn’t matter (DMI connects the X58 chipset with the ICH10R southbridge, BTW).
Virturally any game or 3D program that doesn’t need a graphics card with more than 16 lanes total will perform that program identically to a system with a Core i7 900 CPU (apart from load times due to the third-channel). If the graphics card(s) uses more than 16 total, then it may suffer in a LGA1156 system.
What kind of graphics cards account towards 16 lanes of PCIe 2.0? Put it this way, Albatron recently debuted a 9500GT in a PCIe x1 slot, that’s a 32-shader video card in a single lane. Scaled up to 16 lanes, and that a total shader support of 512. So a single GTX295, dual 285′s or triple 250′s can run with an LGA1156 CPU — basically everyone else than high-end multi-GPU folks who’ve already gone for X58.

Still can’t realize waht is diference xenon vs I7
We got SR1630HGP but all delers says wou will got the cpu (x34xx) after two month
so i’m disappointed becouse we got i7 with ecc less memory
So where is X34xx , WE MUST WAIT ANOTHER 2 MONT?
