AMD 890FX Chipset Delayed to April 2010
Fudzilla reports that AMD has internally delayed its 890FX chipset. Though samples should be available in September, initial production won’t start before January 2010.
The launch of 890FX is now planned for April, and AMD is very likely to present it at CeBIT 2010 which usually takes place in the first week of March. AMD won’t have any new CPUs until this time either.
If things go smoothly, AMD should be able to deliver 32nm quad-core processors in mid-2010.
