Lian Li Launches PC-B25F Midi Tower Chassis

Lian Li has recently launched the PC-B25F Midi tower chassis which is based on the “Blue Ring” design conception.
The new aluminum case measures 210x495x490mm, and features three exposed 5.25-inch bays, removable side, front and top panels, and a top I/O panel with one eSATA, two audio and two USB 2.0 connectors.
The case also comes with five fans – two 120mm working at 1200RPM in front, one 120mm working at 1500RPM at the rear and two 140mm fans working at 1000RPM at the top.
The PC-B25F is expected to start retailing next month for about $190.

Lian Li needs to copy Antec trash can 900? They should have just put a “for gaming” in the product name if they are this desperate for sale…

That is one ugly case. Lian Li is getting carried away with these radical designs. They should stick to traditional styling.

Companies like to do what works, because it has been proven and has worked before for others, so to mimic another gaurantees sales as opposed to taking risks by doing something different. As such, unique is never cheap.
But radical, from what reference point? If compared to previously released Lian-Li’s, sure, I’ll accept that. But to me, this is just another of the hundreds of generic and typical cases available. About the only new innovation to the modern chassis in the last few years is fan placement besides front and back, if only back. Case evolution is moving at the speed of glass.
