AMD Radeon HD5800 Series Pricing Revealed

The rumors about AMD’s top-end DirectX 11 lineup pricing have been circulating around the web, and the fellow site Brightsideofnews sounds to have possessed some interesting details.
The top dog with the name of Radeon HD 5870X2 will retail for $599, and the Radeon HD 5870 is set to go on sale for $379-$399, while the cheapest entry into the 5800 series, the Radeon HD 5850 is priced for $279-$299.
Of course we are talking about the pricing when the cards initially debut in the market, and AMD is very likely to carry out price-cut strategy when its big rival NVIDIA starts to show off its own DirectX 11 cards.
Additionally, the chip is reportedly to be huge, and rotated at a certain angle compared to the organic package, but don’t worry about this as TSMC has “significantly” improved the yield rate.
