NVIDIA CEO to Visit Taiwan in October for A Discussion with TSMC

 

NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang is planning for a visit to Taiwan in the second half of October to meet its partners there. Huang is expected to hold talks with TSMC chairman Morris Chang to discuss contract prices for 40nm production.

Huang will probably check on TSMC’s 40nm process, for which TSMC claimed yield rates have risen from 30% to 60%. Huang will also check the process its upcoming GT300 GPU which is expected to launch in December.
