Galaxy Delivers the First Single Slot GTX260+ Accelerator

 

 

The graphics card manufacturers have started to pay much attention to the cooler of their high-end cards due to heat dissipation requirements. The GeForce GT200 and above graphics cards usually adopt dual-slot or even triple-slot cooler design. However, Galaxy has recently unveiled the first and only (for now) single slot GTX260+ graphics card.

NVIDIA: Our 40nm Yields Are Fine

 

A recent post at Fudzilla suggests that GT300 has been taped out, and the mass production may start in the middle of October. It’s very likely that NVIDIA will launch the new GPU around November 27th, and start shipping in December.
