Gigabyte P55-A-UD6 motherboard

Gigabyte has today announced seven new P55A series motherboards that have Gigabyte 333 onboard acceleration features including USB 3.0, SATA 3.0 (6Gbps) and a 3x boost in USB power.

Besides the exposed GA-P55A-UD-6 and GA-P55A-UD4P, Gigabyte has five more models to offer: GA-P55A-UD5, GA-P55A-UD4, GA-P55A-UD3P, GA-P55A-UD3R and GA-P55A-UD3.

Featuring NEC uPD720200 and Marvell 88SE9128 controller, the boards have implemented support for USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0. In addition, the 3x power boost of all USB ports provide more convennience to power hungry USB devices.

Expected to become available from next week, along with all the thrilling technologies, Gigabyte P55A series will definitely set a new standard in high performance computing.
