Intel Pulls Firmware Update After Data Corruption Complaints

 

Yesterday Intel released a new firmware for the 34nm X25-M SSDs which was said to bring a 40% performance boost and adds support for the TRIM feature in Windows 7. Unfortunately, some users who have had the new firmware installed found that they couldn’t start Windows 7 any more, and others said affected drives become unusable.

JPR: PC Graphics Market Grew 21.2% Last Quarter
