Intel to Launch X25-X Budget SSD Series in Q4

 

Back in July Intel announced its 34nm MLC-equipped X25-M series SSDs, but the pricing is not so appealing to ordinary users. The good news is Intel is looking to introduce the more affordable X25-X series in Q4.

Delivering 170MB/s read speed and 35MB/s write speed, X25X will consume 90mW only during use and when idle it will drop to 75mW.
