Ubisoft Confirms Ongoing Development of Far Cry 3

Many of you might be wondering if Far Cry will have a continuation, and here is the answer.

Ubisoft scribe Kevin Shortt has recentlyΒ confirmed that the team are working on a third Far Cry title. Though he’s not in, what he has seen “looks pretty exciting.”

The sequel would likely retain an African setting, and it’s believed the third game will be based on an improved version of the Dunia engine, in order to handle complex real-world physics within a sandbox environment.

Far Cry 2 was disappointing… too much realism made the game boring. Hope they don’t mess it up again with Far Cry 3.

far cry2 took too long to be releases, had alot of bugs, no prone, no weapon cleaning kits, no weapon upgrades and the graphics werent as good as I was anticipating. I wont be pre ordering this one in 3 years when you can pre order it but I will look forward to seeing how it does.

hahaha realism? It’s arcade, god damn it, and that’s why we liked it.. anyway I read somewhere else that far cry 3 would not be in africa. I hope it’s in australia or malaysia or something like that
