Intel CEO: the Moore’s Law Will Continue to Work

Moore back in 1965, the Moore’s Law describes a long-term trend in the history of computing hardware – the number of transistors on a chip doubles every two years, and the processing speed also doubles. NVIDIA mocks the law is not practical any more, but Intel doesn’t think so.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Screenshots Emerge

 

The new DirectX 11 game – S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat has recently been released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on Windows PC, and become available in two versions: a standard version and a limited special edition. Unfortunately, the game won’t be launched in United States, United Kingdom and the rest of Europe until Q1 2010, according to the publisher bitComposer Games.

NVIDIA’s Fermi Products Delayed to 2010

 

There’ve been reports circulating around the internet that NVIDIA’s next-generation flagship Fermi-G300 GPU won’t be commercially available until next year, and NVIDIA has just officially confirmed about this.

NVIDIA’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said during quarterly conference call that the company would only ramp up production of Fermi in the company’s first quarter of fiscal year 2011 which begins on January 26th and ends on April 26th. So, just don’t expect the Fermi-based graphics cards to be shipping in calendar 2009.

The Level 10 chassis made a very impressive debut at CeBIT and ComputeX 2009, not only because it’s designed by Thermaltake in collaboration with the BMW Group, but also because of its revolutionary design. Although hitting China a bit later than we expected, it’s finally here.

NVIDIA Reports Net Income of $107.6 Million in Q3

 

NVIDIA has today reported revenue of $903.2 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2010 ended Oct 25th, 2009, up 16% from the previous quarter and up slightly from $897.7 million reported in the same period a year earlier.
