Micron Debuts First Ever SATA 6Gbps SSDs

 

Micron technology has lately announced the first SSD lineup with SATA 6.0Gbps interface – RealSSD C300. Built on 34nm MLC NAND memory chips, the C300 delivers read and write speeds of 355MB/s and 215MB/s.

No Plans for New Foundry Partner, Says AMD

Due to the current capacity of TSMC not being able to support the recovering market demand, AMD GPUs have been facing shortages since the third quarter of 2009. Some reports suggested that AMD would consider turning to another foundry partner, but AMD has recently refuted the rumors.

[Let's Play] Dirt 2 Demo

 

The Dirt title developed by Codemasters has impressed numerous gamers by providing immersive and realistic off-road racing experience, and its successor Dirt 2 powered by the enhanced version of the EGO engine is expected to be officially launched on December 3rd, to honor the Scottish rally driver – Colin McRae who won the World Rally Championship Drivers’ title in 1995 but unfortunately died in a helicopter accident in September 2007.
