AMD to Demonstrate Blu-Ray Stereoscopic 3D Technology at CES
AMD has just announced that it will demonstrate the forthcoming Blu-ray stereoscopic 3D standard in partnership with CyberLink at the 2010 CES (Consumer Electronics Show), showcasing how consumers will soon to get to enjoy theater-class high-fidelity 3D entertainment.
As a contributing member of the Blu-ray Disc Association, AMD is working to ensure the new format’s compatibility with the upcoming AMD hardware.
AMD also supports some other 3D technologies such as 3D DLP televisions, dual-panel and line interleaved 3D monitors.

So will everyone need a set of AMD and Nvidia 3D glasses in order for this stuff to work? Or are they the same glasses? Got a family? This could get expensive.
