ECS Readies Low-cost H55H-M Motherboard

With less than a month to go before Intel’s 32nm Clarkdale processors is officially launched, we’re able to get a peek at one ECS motherboard targeting the upcoming chip – H55H-M.
Powered by H55 chipset, the micro ATX board features 4-phase power, support for LGA1156 processors, two DDR3-1333 memory slots and one PCIe x16 slot. The quite affordable product also packs six SATA 3.0Gbps ports, 5.1 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and D-Sub & DVI outputs.

Seems like a nice board. A bit empty, however that doesn’t matter. Should be a nice competitor with a 780G board from AMD but only if the integrated gpu in the CPU is fast enough.

Polak what is the matter with a 5.1 sound card? Not enough? It’s a budget board. And most people still use a 2 channel system.

The PCIe x16 slot is 2.0 or 1.1?
