Sparkle GeForce GT 220 and GT 240 Coming in Low Profile Design

Sparkle has today introduced the world’s first low profile GeForce GT 220 and GT 240 graphics card, with a PCB height of only 6cm, making itself to be an ideal option for HTPC users.

GeForce GT 220 packs 48 stream processors and core/shader/memory clock of 625/1360/1580MHz, while GT240 has 96 stream processors and clock of 550/1340/1580MHz. Both of them feature 1GB GDDR3 memory, 128-bit of memory interface, and a heatsink with sound output of 27.3dBA, plus D-Sub/DVI/HDMI connectivities.

The company doesn’t disclose further information about pricing, but you may expect it to come pretty soon.

    This is a good HTPC option for dedicated graphics, and is probably the fastest low profile card available on the market.
