Xigmatek has gained a high reputation with their performance heatsinks, though they’re a relatively young brand in this field. In this article we’re reviewing their new creation – Xigmatek Bifrost VD1065 VGA cooler.
The VD1065 stands for 10cm fan, and 6mm & five pieces of heatpipes.
Bifrost VD1065 is equipped with two 100mm fans to efficiently cool down the PCB and other components. The combination of black-nickled heatsink and transparent black fan looks pretty nice, doesn’t it?
The fan features 3-pin power connector, and works at around 1800PRM with noticeable noise.
PCCooler HP5-135 vs. Xigmatek Bifrost VD1065
Bifrost VD1065 looks almost the same as another heatsink offered by the China-based manufacturer PCCooler.
There’re 26 pieces of cooling fins in all, making up of a surface of 2200cm2 for heat dissipation.
Bifrost VD1065 continues to take advantage of the Heatpipe Direct Touch technology, and the massive base makes it fit the big GPUs like GT200.
With 43/51/53 mounting holes, the Bifrost VD1065 is compatible with almost all the mainstream graphics cards on the marker, including the latest Radeon HD 500 series.
