Danamics LMX Liquid Metal Cooler Reviewed

Special thanks to Clunk.org.uk

Our friends at Clunk.org.uk has just reviewed the Danamics LMX liquid metal cooler, and let’s check out if it’s worth every penny of it.

Danamics LMX measures 158.2×170.5x90mm (just the heatsink itself), weighing 1180g, and supports AMD Socket AM2/AM2+/AM3 and Intel LGA775/1156/1366 processors.

LGA1366 fitting kit

a small tube of thermal paste and four screws

LMX has a brand-new look and promises better performance, though still using the NaK (Sodium Potassium Alloy) as a coolant. The LMX uses an electromagnetic pump to move the NaK around, and the pump has no moving parts, so it doesn’t vibrate or make any noise.

Interesting enough, the base is also convex.
