Danamics LMX Liquid Metal Cooler Reviewed

Ready for the answer?!

Test bed:

Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6 motherboard

Intel Core i7-860 processor

PowerColor PCS+ HD4870 graphics card

Corsair Dominator GT 2000MHz CAS 8 4GB memory kit

The LMX showed an impressive performance at stock speeds, outperforming its closest rival by 12.25C. At 3960MHz/1.41V overclock, the gap closes to just 2.75C with the Noctua NH-D14.

In this round of competition, LMX still beat competitors at stock speeds, but as the processor speed and Vcore were raised, the LMX lost to all but the Noctua NH-U12P SE2.

Danamics LMX has undoubtedly brought an innovative solution to the market, but its price of €159 is a significant factor that it doesn’t become so popular. If Danamics can bring the cost down a bit, I believe more users would be interested.
