ATI Mobility HD 5000 Series Brings DirectX 11 to Notebooks

AMD has lately introduced a lineup of next-generation DirectX 11-capable ATI Mobility Radeon Premium graphics, including Mobility Radeon HD 5800/5700/5600/5400, bringing the powerful visual gaming and computing innovation to the notebooks.

The HD 5800 series packs 1.04 billion transistors and delivers compute power of up to 1.12 TFLOPS, targeting high-end notebook market, while the 5700/5600 and 5400 series are designed for mid-range and low-end segment respectively.

Boasting support for enhanced UVD2 hardware acceleration decode of dual 1080p HD video streams, HDMI 1.3a Deep Color & x.v. color, 12-bpc output and new features including ATI Eyefinity technology, the ATI Mobility HD 5000 series are expected to make your notebooks more powerful and funny.
