Report: Intel 6 series chipsets arrive in Q2

Intel launch the 5 series chipsets only few weeks ago, but we can see its next generation chipset Roadmap from ASCII now.
Just we can see, Intel X68+ICH11 will arrive in Q2, continue to use the LGA1366 interface and compatible with currently LGA1366 processors  as well as the six-core processor. Intel P65/H65/Q65 is said to be introduced in Q1 2011, and compatible LGA1156 processors.
Any way, the 6 series chipsets will support DMI 2.0 bus and SATA 6Gbps, USB 3.0 standard.

So now I have to wait for the ASUS Rampage 4 to be released? The Ramage 3 isn’t even out yet. I wish the dust would finally settle so we can purchase a platform that we can keep for a few years, CPU memory and Mobo $1200 to $1800 every year is silly.

And for Christmas this year we can purchase the Intel X78 chipset and the new AMD 7870 and 7850 video cards. AAAAAAAAAH!!!

If you want a reusable mobo go AMD. Otherwise settle for one and keep it a few years.
