First Non-reference Radeon HD 5850 Offered by PowerColor on Sale

PowerColor has recently unleashed a factory-overclocked Radeon HD 5850 based on non-reference design with custom cooling solution.

The package and card look cool, but it remains to be seen how it performs.

The world’s first non-reference HD 5850 card features 1440 stream processors, and core/memory clock of 760/4200MHz.

The large cooler with four heatpipes should be able to deliver efficient cooling performance.

PowerColor HD 5850 employs 4+1+1 power design for GPU, memory and I/O part respectively.

You’ll find 8 Samsung GDDR5 DRAM on the board to form 1GB/256bit.

DisplayPort, HDMI and two DVI outputs are provided.

The card requires two 6-pin power supply and is now on sale in China for RMB2499 which is about US$366.
