Galaxy GTX285 Breaks 3DMark Vantage World Record

The overclocking team Team HK_Centralfield has recently broken the world record with Galaxy GTX285 graphics card.

Overclocking platform:

- Intel Core i7-920 processor
- Galaxy GTX285 graphics card
- EVGA X58 E762 motherboard
- A-DATA 2200 memory
- OCZ 30G SSD hard drive

When the CPU was overclocked to 4.8GHz, Galaxy GTX285 running at 930/2800/2000MHz got 3DMark Vantage Performance score of P17322.

This might be the best performance that NVIDIA’s single card could get, until the Fermi really arrives here – actually, the Fermi-based GeForce products have gotten official names – GeForce GTX480 and GTX470.
