Radeon HD 5830 Delayed Again

 

Radeon HD 5830, which was postponed to February 5th (i.e. today) due to circuit issues, is said to be further delayed.

With the approaching of Chinese Spring Festival (Feb 13th – 28th), the factories here in China are closed. Therefore, Radeon HD 5830 should be start shipping after February 20th and you can expect to see them widely available in March.

NVIDIA to Re-introduce Hybrid SLI Under Optimus Brand Name

 

NVIDIA talked up the Optimus technology last month, and Xbitlabs has learnt that the graphics technology for mobile platform will be revealed on February 9th. However, Optimus is not a particularly new technoloy, but just an improved version of Hybrid SLI and Hybrid Graphics.
