LGA775 Processors Account for 77% of Intel Sales

In spite of the consistent update of CPU socket type, the LGA775 still reigns supreme, according to Fudzilla.
LGA775 processors account for a whopping 77 percent of sales across the first quarter, and Intel expects it to keep holding at least half of all processor sales until the end of 2010.
LGA1156 is now responsible for 18 percent of all Intel shipments, and its market share will hopefully grow to 44 percent in the fourth quarter. The third most popular socket is the Atom, which makes up about 5 percent, while the LGA1366 only account for a miserable 1 percent of sales.
