Research on Relationship Between BCLK/QPI and iGPU Frequency/Performance
Conclusion:
I. The iGPU frequency is linear with BCLK frequency.
II. The QPI bandwidth is incapable of handling the data communication between two dies, and thus lowers the 3D performance of iGPU.
When the CPU is overclocked to 4.6GHz, QPI improved to 8380MHz, iGPU frequency set at 733MHz, the 3DMark Vantage Entry score can reach E7112, showing a significant boost compared to E4552 before overclocking.
