Some times ago, Khronos Group has released the OpenGL 4.1 which is backwards compatible with the existing OpenGL code; While yesterday Geeks3d updated the GPU Caps Viewer to 1.8.9. And the new update of GPU Caps Viewer is available, this new version adds the support of OpenGL 4.1 and improves the OpenCL support.

What’s new:

*Added the support of OpenGL 4.1;
*Added in OpenCL panel, the selection of the current device index for the demos;
*A command line option allows to select the OpenCL device on which running the OpenCL kernels (PRO version only);
*Added NVIDIA Quadro 5000 to the database;
*Minor changes in OpenCL related code.
