Gainward GeForce GTX 460 2GB Golden Sample Edition Released

Palit-owned add-in board maker Gainward has now released a new GeForce GTX 460 graphics card, the GeForce GTX 460 2GB Golden Sample edition, which features non-reference design.

The Gainward GTX 460 is based on 40nm GF104 GPU, and boasts 336 stream processors, core/Shader/memory clocked at 700/1400/3600MHz, 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with 256-bit memory interface; The Gainward GTX 460 is also cooled by dual slot with two 6mm copper heatpipes, an 80mm fan and power is drawn in from two 6-pin power connectors; And Equipped with D-Sub & HDMI output, the card also supports 2-way SLI, CUDA, PhysX, and 3D Vision Surround.

Gainward has not revealed the price and the launch date yet.

    Those GTX 460′s have been selling like hotcakes lately!

    …now that I think of it, I have a bad feeling this is going to be the next 8800GTS…
