AMD Gains Mobile CPU Market Share in Q2, Intel Still Prevails

 

According to the latest IDC report, worldwide PC microprocessor unit shipments in the second quarter of 2010 increased 3.6% compared to the last quarter. Intel continues to prevail with a market share of 80.7%, showing a slight decrease of 0.3%. AMD earned 19.0% unit market share, a gain of 0.2%.
