MSI Release the 870A Fusion Power Edition

According to Tcmagazine, today MSI,the world renowed motherboard and graphics card maker, has just launched the 870A Fuzion Power Edition motherboard officially.

So instead of launching a 890FX/SB850/LucidLT22102 board they choose the smaller 870 chipset. I guess most potential customers for a lucid chipset are hardware enthusiast, who demand the fastest, biggest, newest components – the 870 seems not to fit into this category anymore

I believe this is a very smart move from MSI. The difference between 890FX and 870 (or 770) is only the PCI-E lanes. 890FX offers 2* full PCI-E x16 (or 4* 8). With the Lucid Chip MSI also offers 2* PCI-E x16. From NB side there is absolutely no performance difference between the NB, and MSI uses SB850 so all features are available.
