AMD to Sample Bulldozer Processor in Q4 2010

According to the Fudzilla site, John Fruehe, AMD’s director of servers said that the company is going to sample its Bulldozer processor to the partners in Q4 2010.

The prototypes are said to be in good shape, and the first Operton server chips are expected to debut as soon as first half of 2011, instead of the second half as it rumored.

AMD might talk about the launch date of its Bulldozer architecture at its analyst conference call in November.
