AMD Demos Llano Fusion-Based Processor

The HotHardware website has recently got an early peek at the fully functional AMD’s upcoming Llano processor. The CPU part of this APU is a quad-core chip, and the integrated GPU was running Alien vs. Predator at a 1024×768 resolution with DirectX 11 features enabled.
According to the source, Llano is not based on Bobcat or Bulldozer. It’s “a 32nm, low-power derivative of the company’s current Phenom II architecture fused with a GPU that will target a wide range of operating environments”. It features a 3GHz-or-higher operating speed, support for DDR3 memory, and an on-die DX11-class graphics processor.
AMD should be sampling Llano to OEMs soon and reveal it sometime in the first half of 2011.
