NDA? so the rumors were true.
is this just a gf100 with all 512 cores enabled? or it just a minor revision of it?
i’m guessing that it is clocked 50-100mhz higher than gtx480. gtx480 has not even reached a year in the market and they are replacing it already? maybe this is nvidia’s way of “catching up” when amd is already releasing their 2nd generation of dx11 cards.

I know it is impossible but I hope GTX 580 >= GTX 480 in SLI [-o<

rumors say that it’s around 20% faster than the 480, with 512 cores. i think this is just a minor update not a complete architectural change and in my opinion doesn’t deserve the gtx 5xx title. they need to do another gf104 if they wan’t to keep floating.
