AMD Radeon HD 6970 Graphics Cards Postponed For Release?
AMD Radeon HD 6800 series graphics cards don’t much surprise to us in architecture.However,the upcoming Cayman-based HD 6900 series graphics cards will bring us brand-new 4D architecture.
Spec of Radeon HD 6970 was revealed by Fudzilla.Radeon HD 6970 packs 1536 stream processors,96 texture units and 32 ROPs,2GB GDDR5 memory with core frequency of 860MHz as well as memory interface of 256-bit.
Radeon HD 6970 needs a 6pin and 8pin assistant power supply.In addition,it features two DVI,two mini-DisplayPort and a HDMI output.

Radeon HD 6900 is planned to be released in November 22nd.However,until now BIOS and driver have not been well prepared,consequently it is most likely that the release day will be postponed.
