Intel Expects More than 70% of Q3 2011 to be 32nm

Intel is currently producing and selling some 75% of 45nm based products, while about 25% of Intel processors are 32nm, reports Fudzilla. As the Sandy Bridge become available in Q1 2011, the market share of 45nm will shrink to 65%, and 32nm will grow to 35%.
According to the company’s expectation, the market share of 32nm will increase to 50% in Q2 2011. And in Q3 2011, Intel hopes that more than 70% of its chips will be 32nm while the rest stays at 45nm.
By the Q4 2011, Intel should start to manufacture 22nm based products. However, AMD still fails to deliver its 32nm parts.
