AMD 28nm Mobile GPUs Roadmap Exposed

Lately the roadmap of AMD mobile GPUs has been exposed by Donanimhaber,which revealed some information about Radeon HD 7000M GPUs based on 28nm manufacturing process.

According to the exposed roadmap,the first batch of AMD Radeon HD 7000M include four models.They are codenamed Thames,Chelsea,Heathrow and Wimbledon,targeting mainstream or higher-level market.

Specification of the four GPUs:

* Thames targets at mainstream market,features TDP of 15-25W with memory interface of 128-bit.
* Chelsea mainly targets at performance-level market,features TDP of 20-30W with memory interface of 128-bit.
* Heathrow targets at performance-level market as well,features TDP of up to 35W with memory interface of 128-bit or 192-bit.
* Wimbledon belongs to flagship model,it features memory interface of 256-bit with TDP of up to 35W(said to be 65W).

The first three models will be shipped in the 4th quarter of this year,while the flagship model won’t come out until the 2nd quarter of 2012.
