Several days ago,Jack Tretton,the head of Sony Computer Entertainment America once said that the launch of next-generation portable(NGP) game console, will be delayed to next year due to the lack of component supplies,however,another spokesman of Sony denies the saying.

"So far we see no impact from the quake on our launch plan.When Sony first unveiled the NGP in late January,it never said it would launch the new machine in all three regions at once,"said Satoshi Fukuoka,a spokesman for Sony Computer Entertainment.

The spokesman denied to postpone the release of NGP because of the earthquake in Japan.If no accident,NGP will arrive this year and launch in an unknown market in accordance with the original plan.
