Foxconn May Spend $12 Billion In Brazil To Produce iPads

As Brazil’s Science and Technology Minister Aloizio Mercadante reveals,contract manufacturer of electronics Foxconn plans to invest US$12 billion to build a factory for producing Apple iPads in Brazil over five to six years.

If the investment is smooth,the factory is supposed to create 100,000 jobs,Aloizio Mercadante said.And Foxconn’s executives are now negotiating the investment plan with Brazilian government.

Foxconn is the important producers for Apple iPhone and iPad.According to an unknown official,Foxconn also produces goods for HP,Sony and Dell in Brazil.

However,Foxconn refuses to comment on the investment plan.
