In this Computex,NVIDIA have made sample exhibition for its next-generation Tegra processor——Project KAL-EL,and most importantly,the company made emphasis on the naming issue.

In a Tegra technology meeeting,NVIDIA Tegra team leader indicated many media have been accustomed to calling Project KAL-EL processor as Tegra 3.NVIDIA pointed out that,it’s not proper to call "Tegra 3" as it will misleads readers.The reason for this rests that the final naming of Project KAL-EL processor hasn’t been finalized.And therefore,it’s suggested to use Project KAL-EL or next-generation Tegra processor instead of Tegra 3.

According to NVIDIA,Project KAL-EL will be the world’s first batch-production quad-core mobile processor,which packs four CPU cores and 12 graphics processing units.In addition,it supports display output with resolution of 2560*1600,delivers 5X performance of Tegra 2 along with a decent performance in power consumption.
