AMD To Retire Phenom II X6 Processors By The End Of This Year

AMD is about to retire its Phenom II X6 series CPUs by the end of this year,according to a roadmap exposed by DonanimHaber.

The first processors to be retired will be the Phenom II X6 1045T/1055T,they can be ordered until the 3rd quarter of this year.The rest in the Phenom II X6 CPU lineup will be ordered until the end of this year.

The retirement of Phenom II X6 CPU lineup is to make room for the A-series Llano APUs and the upcoming FX-Series chips which are based on the high-performance Bulldozer architecture.
