Lately ASRock has unveiled two AMD 9 series motherboards——990FX Extreme4 and 970 Extreme4,which are designed to support the new-generation AM3+ processors.

990FX Extreme4 motherboard is the most high-end model between the two.The mobo packs 990FX+SB950 chipset and supports AM3+ socket processor.In addition,it employs three PCI-E x16 slots,provides the support for NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX technology.In addition,it features 8+2 phase power supply design,as well as XFast USB technology that optimizes USB transfer speed performance.

The same with 990FX Extreme4,970 Extreme4 motherboard also employs XFast USB that optimizes USB transfer speed performance and On/Off Play technology.It’s noteworthy that the two motherboard feature mouse-controllable Graphical UEFI.
