Introduction

In DIY market,only those products with personalized characteristics can make the consumers be fond of them.In high-end graphics market,some graphics like ASUS ROG,MSI Lightning,Gigabyte SOC series are well received.In addition,Galaxy HOF,Zotac Extreme also work towards the direction.Another good case in point is Yeston.

In terms of concrete products,Yeston Game Master R6850 and GTX 560 Ti both adopt self-design PCB,but these graphics cards boast third-party cooler,R6850 features third-cooler Accelero Xtreme Plus made by Arctic Cooling.While GTX 560 Ti boasts PCCooler OC3 Black Sea.

Earlier Yeston introduces Game Master R6950,the graphics card boasts self-design turbine conch-like cooler.

Yeston Game Master R6950 features backplate design,PWM controller chip and DIP voltage switch.

The PCB of R6950 is very close to that of R6850.And Yeston features 12+2+1 power supply design(6+2+1 for reference model).

At the PCB back side,Game Master R6950 employs two NEC decoupling capacitors and voltage measuring pointat the top of PCB.

We can see DIP voltage switch in the left part,the default voltage of R6950 is only 1.10V,through the switch,core voltage can be adjusted to 1.25V.

In addition,Yeston Game Master R6950 features core frequency of 850MHz,slightly higher than 800MHz of reference model.And the memory frequency is 1250MHz,which is the same with the reference one.Working voltage is 1.10V(1.175V for reference model).

Yeston conch-like cooler

The conch-like cooler features turbine engine,its fan blade measures 11cm,and it delivers fan rotation speed of 1800RPM.What’s the difference between it and the common turbine cooler?

The conch-like cooler has a large size covering the space of three slots,and the whole card measures 28cm.

Actually its fan is the main role of the conch-like cooler,it’s customized by ID Cooling with diameter of 11cm and thickness of 2.5cm.
