At the beginning of this month,Samsung once announced that they have sold 3 million units of Galaxy S II in 55 days since the launch.While now the sales volume increases further and reach another milestone.

Lately the company declared that the sales of its flagship Galaxy S II smartphone has surpassed 5 million units worldwide in just 85 days,and the predecessor Galaxy S achieved the sales figure in 125 days.

Samsung Galaxy S II features 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen with resolution of 800*480,as well as 1.2GHz dual-core ARM processor.Earlier there was rumor that,in order to face the great challenge from Apple’s upcoming iPhone,Samsung is said to prepare for the launch of a new device,which may be called Galaxy S II Plus,and the new model is going to include 1GB of RAM,a 1.4GHz dual-core processor.

According to the sales development trend,Samsung is expected to achieve the company’s sales goal of 10 million units with the smartphone.
