Intel 2013 Haswell Processor To Support DirectX 11.1 Graphics

Is it the DirectX 12 or improved DirectX 11.1 after the DirectX 11?A product roadmap revealed the latter.

According to a leaked Intel product roadmap,the current Sandy Bridge integrates 6-generation graphics core,supports DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0.Later it will come out with Ivy Bridge which is updated to 7-generation graphics core,bringing the support for DirectX 11 and OpenGL 3.1.In 2013,the Haswell processor will debut,and it will integrate enhanced 7-generation Intel graphics core,provides the support for OpenGL 3.2 and DirectX 11.1.The recommended OS is Windows 8(64-bit).

In addition,Intel has tried every effort to get various DirectX and OpenGL certification.Currently Sandy Bridge has obtained some approval,such as AutoCAD 10/11/12,Photoshop CS5,Civil 3D 11/12,etc.And the subsequent Ivy Bridge/Haswell will try to get the certification of 3ds Max and Avid Media.

    Unless Intel make miracle with hundred Pentium MMX core in new small nm in GPU core, it is funny to see the slowest GPU on earth doing professional CAD / CAM. AMD FireGL / FirePro is hard to beat NVidia Quadro in term of performance, not to mention INTEL?
