AMD Radeon HD 7970 Official Slides Unearthed
Various slides about AMD Radeon HD 7900 series now has been leaked by OBR Hardware, let’s see the relative data firstly.
It appears that HD 7970 based on GCN architecture improves greatly in tessellation, with nearly an increase of 50% over HD 6970. And the games performance improvement is quite exaggerating as well.
According to some slides revealed by ZOL, HD 7970 will support PCI-Express 3.0 and Direct X 11.1.
The low power consumption is owing to 28nm manufacturing process, and idle power is below 3W, improving significantly.

I hope this time AMD can beat Nvidia. I am not a fan of AMD or Nvidia. I just need balance

its ok to have balance on the GPU market, unlike on chipzilla hammering amd to it’s knees. at least, GPU prices are being competetive.
