Earlier some report said that Intel Ivy Bridge processors will launch in April, however, according to the report from Digitimes, the company will only ship a small volume of the processors in early April, while mass shipments don’t appear until after June.

In compliance with sources from notebook players, due to the weak global economy, most first-tier notebook vendors are having trouble clearing away their Sandy Bridge notebook inventories, so Intel postpones mass shipments of the new processors to minimize the impact.
