Zotac GeForce GTX 680 Supreme Edition Graphics Card Debuts
After the launch of GeForce GTX 680, various manufacturers try their means to introduce their reference models, while now Zotac is preparing for its GeForce GTX 680 Supreme Edition graphics card to satisfy the need of high-end and overclocking players. However, the card is only available in China.
GTX 680 Supreme Edition features self-designed dual-slot cooler, two 9cm fans, five 6mm copper heatpipes, copper base and lots of aluminum cooling fins, as well as metal wind scooper.
The graphics card adopts over-shoulder design, as for power supply, it packs IR-based DrMOS and AIO-based inductance totaling 12 phase core/memory power supply, laying a solid foundation or overclocking.
Reference GeForce GTX 680 features dual-6pin external power ports, while Zotac GeForce GTX 680 Supreme Edition graphics card adopts 8pin+6pin external power ports in addition to strengthening power supply circuit.
The card packs solid-state capacitors and tantalum capacitors, providing relative pure current to dig out graphics overclocking potential.
In terms of power main controller, the graphics card features CHiL-based PWM CHL8318 chip managing 8-phase power supply.
At the back of PCB, the card employs three FPCAP capacitors and ZOTAC’s self-designed OC Plus overclocking module.

According to Zotac, overclocking players could adjust graphics voltage and frequencies to monitor operation parameters through OC Plus overclocking module and latest FireStorm software. Currently we have got the card and are conducting test, stay tuned!
