Gigabyte G1.Sniper M3 Motherboard Review
Introduction
Gigabyte G1.Killer series motherboards have gone through three generation, after X58/X79 mobos, the Z77 model has been more mature.
According to the initial plan, G1.Killer motherboards include three series——G1 Guerrilla，G1 Sniper and G1 Assassin. In the third-generation G1 mobo, it first comes with Micro-ATX version, that’s the current G1 Sniper M3, which looks more refreshed than Assassin XL-ATX/E-ATX model.
Gigabyte G1 Sniper M3 mobo is the first G1 to feature M-ATX spec, it features super vision, super audition, super protection, and adhere tos some factors like CPU overclocking, innovative sound card, USB.3.0, etc.
The mobo provides four memory slots, supporting dual-channel DDR3 1600/1333/1066MHz mode with capacity of 32GB, as well as 2-phase independent power supply.
In addition, the motherboard offers three PCI-E slots (one only supports PCI-E 2.0 x4, the other two support PCI-E 3.0), forming expansion of x16, x8+x8 and x8+x8+x4, additionally there comes with a PCI-E x1 slot.

In terms of I/O port, the mobo offers four USB 2.0 ports, two native USB 3.0 ports (one for expansion). As for video output, it provides VGA, DVI, HDMI and DP connector. Moreover, it has PS/2 port, eSATA, RJ-45 network port and 5.1-channel audio port.
