AMD Readies Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition Graphics Card

Currently the single-GPU crown falls on GeForce GTX 680, however, in order to have a counter attack, AMD is going to introduce the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition, as AtomicMPC, reported.

It’s said that the GPU frequency of Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition will improve from 925MHz to 1GHz. If the news is true, the new graphics card will be much more competitive, plus the known excellent general computing capability, it will be potential opportunity to retake single-GPU crown.

nvidia is so slow in releasing their cards, they make excuses like “we don’t want a paper launch release”, they say GTX 680 isn’t their high end card although it’s pretty much priced like one. and they haven’t even released their mid-range/gamer cards yet. damn AMD for releasing their cards in relatively high prices that’s why nvidia is doing the same thing now. Q3 might be the best time to buy a card, by that time there will be so many cards on deck and prices would drop to where it should be.

Good page. futuresnow down 395 merters. Let¡¯s suppose that there was a radio call-in show that you wanted to take off the air, and you know that they have a phone system capable of holding 7 callers on hold at the same time. So you go to the store and buy 7 cell phones. When the lines open up, you call the switchboard with all 7 phones simultaneously so that the show can¡¯t accept any legitimate callers. SYN floods work in a very similar manner.
