KingMax 1TB 2.5-inch SSD Hits Retail in Japan

Recently a 1TB SSDβ€”β€”KM01TBSMI25 from KingMax has hit retail in Japan.

The SSD is 2.5-inch form factor with thickness of 7mm, but its controller and NAND flash memory are not confirmed. In addition, it supports TRIM technology, features SATA 3Gbps interface instead of SATA 6Gbps. It delivers 20000 IOPS in random reads/writes, sequential read and write speed of 250MB/s and 200MB/s, respectively.

Backed by three-year warranty, KingMax KM01TBSMI25 1TB SSD has hit retail in Japan at the price of Yen119800 (US$1500).
