Samsung has recently denied the rumors that Galaxy S8 would be launched earlier than they originally planned. Just like always, the new Galaxy S series will be unveiled just before the Mobile World Congress trade show kicks off in Barcelona, Spain in February 2017. The smartphone is slated for selling in Korea and other countries from the Mid March.
“Currently we do not have any plans to release Galaxy S8 early. Pushing release date forward all of sudden is something that is realistically impossible,” said a Samsung official according to ETNews.
Other sources suggest that Samsung would delay production of the Galaxy S8 by at least two weeks so as to figure out the Note 7 flaws. I agree that it’s the company’s top priority to earn back customers’ trust instead of rushing into any products.
